Patrol Division

It is the policy of the Clarksville Police Department to patrol in a proactive manner. To investigate suspicious persons and circumstances, and to actively enforce the motor vehicle laws. While requiring that any person will only be stopped or detained when there exists reasonable suspicion to believe they have committed, are committing, or are about to commit an offense.

Racial profiling is strictly prohibited. As an accredited agency, our policies and procedures are intended to assist Officers in accomplishing the mission of the Clarksville Police Department while respecting the dignity of all persons.

Officers observe, identify and act upon any unusual occurrences and illegal activity in a concerted effort to keep our community free from crime; our roadways safe to drive upon and deter, detect, and apprehend criminals.
