    Come join the fun as we provide a structured setting for patrons to play Pickleball. It is similar to badminton and tennis and takes very little instruction. This drop-in program is free with a recreation center membership, which is only $5.

    Kitchen Adventures is a series of 6 food prep skills classes for children in 4th and 5th grade. Does your child often ask to help in the kitchen? Do they beg to try to make all the recipes on their own? Do they know their way around the kitchen? Then your child is the perfect candidate for our Kitchen Adventures class. With the guidance of trained staff, children will learn the basics such as chopping, dicing, peeling, and more. When signing up there is a commitment to attend all 6 classes as it is a learning activity that requires continued participation. ALL Materials Will Be Provided.

    The Home-school Art Class Fall session will focus on teaching youth how to paint, draw, and use oil pastels in a fun, artistic way. Each class will offer a relaxation exercise, followed by a step-by-step guided art session on how to paint, draw, or use oil pastel. Participants will create a final project that will combine all the lessons of the program.

    Sit & Fit is a full-body low-impact workout for people with a limited range of motion & physical limitations, designed to strengthen and stretch the entire body to improve health, reduce falls and increase mobility. This upbeat program features a variety of fun movements and music. Participants will use manipulatives (balls, hand weights, fitness bands) while performing seated exercises that focus on core strengthening, muscle retention, low impact cardio and flexibility. This drop-in program is free with recreation center membership.

    Toddler Story Time provides a multi-sensory experience while engaging your child’s imagination. Each week there will be a read-aloud story by a beloved children’s author, followed by an age-appropriate craft and yummy make & take snack related to the story. Dress accordingly, the creative process can be messy. The cost to attend this drop-in program is $3 per class.

This program is designed to give the homeschool community a chance to socialize in a cafeteria-style setting with friends they have made. Kids should bring their lunch. All cold items will be stored in the refrigerator until lunchtime. The program is free with Recreation Center membership.
